What does online personal training involve?It involves personal bespoke advice, training, guidance and nutrition programming, frequent support via a messenger app and weekly in-depth video feedback and exercise guidance. Most importantly, I will be the one directly looking after you, and I pride myself on my track record in producing amazing results and supporting my clients every step of the way to their transformation and goal!

What tests do you do in the introduction pathway?Knowledge is power and the key to your sucess. So at the start of your induction we will perform several tests. All these tests will help to paint a picture of where you are today and tell us what we will need to improve to reach your goals in the safest, smartest and quickest way possible. A welcome letter with a step by step guide will be sent to you once you have signed up explaining what the next steps are. These tests will cover: · Cardiorespiratory function* · Aerobic fitness · Body composition* · Static/Dynamic posture · Strength · Flexibility · 19-point head to toe, biomichanical performance evaluation. All these test will create some key results, the definitions of which can be found below. *basic equipment will be needed to perform some tests. More will be explained in your induction welcome letter.

How often will you check-in with me?Every week! Each Sunday, I'll send you a simple update form that will provide me with information beyond what I can acquire from our video calls / sessions. The update form will inform me of anything you might be struggling with, your likes, dislikes, any changes that might be required, your energy levels, mood, sleep, weight etc. Using this information, along with your exercise and pictures, I'll provide you with personalised video feedback where I'll highlight areas in which you're doing well, things that can be improved and what we need to work on moving into the following week. All this ensures we're consistently moving towards your goal at a rate in which you're happy.

I'm a beginner, will this be suitable for me?"Yes, alot of my clients were first time exercisers when they started with me. When I create your plan, I'll keep in mind both your level of experience and your goals. I have worked with clients who are beginners to advanced exercisers. When you sign up, you'll be required to complete my questionnaire; this will provide me with some starting information about you, things like your medical history, lifestyle, injuries etc. this will help prepare me to meet you and will also give you time to think about some of the questions. Then during our first video call we can go over some of you answers and perform some more testing togeather. When I create your improvement pathway the more information i have the better the pathway will be to ensure you achieve fantastic results in the quickest possible time and eliminate the guesswork. If you're an advanced lifter/athlete, then I'm going to ensure I take your training and knowledge to the next level.

Will I need a gym membership?No, you don't need a gym membership. When I create your plan, I'll design it around the equipment you have available. Having said that, if your goal is to build muscle and you have no equipment, then I'll usually recommend either joining a gym or purchasing some basic equipment; like a set of dumbbells a ball, bosu or a set of resistance bands. This will all be coved in your intro questionaire and our first session. After which I will help you source the right equipment for you and your needs. So dont worry about buying anything yet.

Do I need to live in the United Kingdom?No, I work with people from all over the world. Most of my clients are based in England, Wales, Scotland, and the rest of the world. One of the best things about online personal training is that you can access my experience from anywhere in the world.

What if I travel frequently?Many of my clients have jobs and lifestyles that require them to travel regularly; this makes online personal training an ideal fit for them. We will cover this during your introduction and design your pathway and routines to adpat for your work/social lifestyle. Then you can take me with you so that you can carry on improving.

Are you pathways and routines truly customised?Yes, entirely! Everyone is different; therefore, everyone will receive a fully customised/bespoke training pathway, routines etc. Your first weeks/month will be spent on customising everything to suit you. You will see this by how indepth my questionnaire is and our first session where we will be testing all your major joints to see what they're telling us. I have never done a one-size-fits-all style pathway as no one person is the same. To view the introduction pathway press here

How will I know if I'm doing the exercises correctly?Each exercise is accompanied by a video demo and key coaching points. We will then perform each exercise during our sessions and if your still unsure of any exercise you can record yourself performing that exercise and forward it to me. Then, during your weekly video feedback, I'll be able to critique your form to ensure you master it in the future. It is also worth saying that prescribing exercises is what I've done for over 20 years, so I am very good at building up the exercises properly so as you adviance and the exercises get more complicated, you have already learnt the components of the exercise to put together.

How will I communicate with you?If you are on a monthly plan with me then as well as our video catch-ups / sessions, we will use our update form each week to make sure your progressing and are happy. You'll also be able to message me directly via whatsapp, at any time.

Do you provide recipes?If thats what you need then of course! I'll provide delicious, high protein, nutrient-rich recipes to help facilitate your goals and ensure your diet is sustainable.

Will we be doing Microsoft teams, Whatsapp or Zoom sessions?"Your training sessions can be done via Microsoft teams, Whatsapp or Zoom. Seeing you move "live" with instant feedback is very very important as I can see things that other people can't. If a picture is worth a thousand words, then a video is worth a million. Every client is different and how we use our video sessions will be based on your needs. some clients need more exercise performance help while others require certain aspects of thier training, pathway and nutrition are optimising.

How quickly will you get back to me?During normal working hours, I tend to get back to people within an hour, outside of working hours, this can be longer. But even on the weekend, I'll certainly get back to you within 24 hours. In short, I'll get back to you as quickly as possible.

Will I need to train every day?No, I'll design a plan to fit around your lifestyle. Most of my clients train 3 to 4 times per week, but I have clients who train once per week and have others who train over seven times per week. I'll design the plan around what is optimal whilst ensuring it's realistic.

How will you track my workouts?By asking you during our sessions and by the feedback that you give me exch week. I'll also be checking up on you from time to time.

Will we be using any apps, If so which one?"Yes we will use Apps to help us. For communication purposes including video calls I mainly use Whatsapp because of it ease of use, its stability and it also gives you the ability to move your mobile around your training space with ease so I can get a better view of how your moving. I also can use other video communication platforms if needed such as Microsoft teams or Zoom. In regards to monitoring apps we will use the best ones to suit your needs such as my fitness pal or a simple step counter. My philosophy is to keep it simple and sometimes these apps can start to overwhelm you with data, distracting you from whats really important which is YOU and your needs. Don't get me wrong I love apps and have even built groundbreaking fitness technology for the fitness industry, but you're paying for me to look after you, not an app, so we will only use them if they will positively help you.

How much does Online Personal Training cost?Depending on which plan you take it can start from £100 per month. A majority of my clients opt for the £250 per month package, while my clients who need that extra care and motivation pay £550 per month to hire me as thier full-time Online Trainer. Press here to see plans The monthly subscription can be cancelled at any time, and the same applies to the three-month package following the initial three-month payment. The payments are all made via Bacs (bank transfer).

Can I pay with cash?No, I'm sorry. The safest way to keep my self and my team away from scams is to avoid mailing issues.

How will you measure my progress?When you start with me, in our first session we will take you though a range of tests from basic cardic function to biomichanical movements. All these results will be put into an algoritham which I created. This will give me a range of scores for you and helps you and I to see where we need to improve you first. I have included my definition sheet below.

How long before I see results?Most clients see progress after just their induction pathway as they were moving incorrectly or needed to ease a joint off properly. If your asking how long it'll take to achieve your desired goal, well that really depends on what your goal is, any barriers that need to be overcome and of course how much effort you put in. I'll do everything in my power to help you achieve your goal in the quickest possible time. In fact, I pride myself on helping people transform their body in a smarter not harder or longer way.

What is your cancellation policy?The monthly subscription can be cancelled at any time. You can cancel directly with me via an email or in our session. Once you cancel, you will not be charged again and will be able to continue the service until the end of your current payment period.

How will you track what I eat?If you need nutrition tracking then we will arrange a way that suits you. I have found that most of my clients dont want their diet examined under a microscope and understand that this is not a healthy way to approch a diet plan as its too intrusive into their lives. So what I do is to work with you to find a way that helps you and make small changes each week that will make big diffrences and that will bring your goal closer.

Will anyone else see my progress photos?No, absolultely not! Only you and I will have access to your progress photos.

Why don't you have testomials online?As you mau have already read, I don't ask or offer my clients discounts for online testomials or photos. So many online testomonials have been so carefully writen and fluffed up into a sales and marketing articles that they have lost the trust of respectible people. You can easily tell this by the lighting, spray tans and filters/photoshop work that they use for the photos. What I do instead in not charge you untill after our first session because your personal trainer must be someone who you feel a connecton with and can trust with your health and safety. If after our first session you feel that isn't me, then just let me know and I'll wish you well on your journey.

Will I receive a nutrition plan?Absolutely! However I tend not to make you calorie count so we can see how much protein, carbohydrates and fats you should be consuming each day. Why? because eveyone is unique and so is food. Ever noticed how they say an apple has 95kcal well what if its smaller than their pre-determained size or larger? What is more important is how you manage your nutrition, how you cook your food, how you store your food for example. I have found that most of my clients have a good understanding about nutrition and don't need their money wasted by examining their diet under a microscope and this is not a healthy way to approch a diet plan as its too intrusive into their lives. So what I do is to work with you to find a way that helps you and make small changes each week that will make big diffrences and that will bring your goal closer.

Do you work with vegans, vegetarians and plant-based eaters?"Of course. It's also my job to help you to ensure you're doing veganism the right way, the safe way, a way in which is conducive to your goals and avoids the infamous nutrient deficiencies that can accrue from eliminated meat, fish and dairy.

I am an Online Personal Trainer from the UK with over two decades of experience. I should now tell you that I can help you shed fat, increase your strength, improve your flexibility and all the other wonderful key selling points that PT’s use to get you to sign up, but those are easy gains and just a by-product of good training.


The difference with me is that using the full weight of my knowledge, advanced education and experience i specialize in training people who are struggling with those aches, pains and constant injuries who want to get back to feeling like they used to and reaching that lifelong fitness goal, and the fat shedding, increased strength and improved flexibility will follow as part of your course.
